Lowryder 2

I just ordered a pack of Lowryder 2 seeds last week and they should be here any day. This will be my second grow but my first with this strain.

As well as this being my first Lowryder grow, this is my first indoor grow.

I read Grandpa's Grow Guide as stickied at the top of the form. So far I have bought ten one-and-a-half gallon pots and five bags of soil with an NPK ratio of 20-10-10.

My set-up for growing is nice. I have an extra closet and I made an adjustable boom to hold the lights but this is where a number of questions regarding Lowryder arise.

1.) What kind of light should I use supposing I get 2-3 female plants out of what germinates? How many watts and how many actual lights should I get? How far from the tops of the plants should I keep the lights?

2.) For those of you who have grown Lowryder do you recomend 18/6 or 24/0 for lighting?

3.) As far as lighting goes, do I go 18/6 or 24/0 for the entire grow? Do I fuck with the lighting at all once flowering starts?

The next issue I'd like to tackle is nutrients.

1.) What should I use as far as ferts/nutes go? I take it I should not add any ferts or nutes to seedlings, right? My huntch is that I add nutes a week after potting but please correct me in case I am wrong.

2.) When do I stop adding ferts/nutes?

One more question:

What is flushing? I have read quite a bit thanks to the search function and I gather that it might have something to do with flushing nutes out of the soil? Can someone please tell me more about what flushing is and when it is necessesary?

If anyone can answer my questions it would be greatly appreciated.
